Well it is there in black and white, our boss has been reassigned. Well now what? Keeping in mind, no names, no bashing, just some plain insight on what you think OEMC's next move will be.
Does anyone have EXACT dates for time served by past Executive Directors??
The best I could come up with is:
William Corbett: Sept 95 - 1997 Glen Funk: 1997 - 1999 Greg Bishop: July 99 - May 2001 (he passed away) Cortez Trotter: 2001 - April 2004 Ronald Huberman: May 2004 - May 2005 Andrew Velasquez III: June 2005 - Mar 2007 Anthony Ruiz: June 2007 - Mar 2008
Greg Bishop was the nicest man and a great director. He would talk to you in passing and in a genuine real way, not just because he felt he had to or as an excuse to act condescending. It was a sad day for his family of course, but also for the OEMC when he passed away. In my opinion the ED position has gone down the hill since then.
Who wants to wager on a retired FED getting the spot since J-Fed technically oversee's everything emergency related. Watch for it, since in the rest of the world Communications is taken seriously

New person will be one of the top folks from CPD that was kicked out after JD came.
Maybe Maher

1:29, that is a scary thought. Think of how many of these clowns came from the CPD...
Funk and Bishop were the only two worth a damn. Sucks too, because I hated Funk when he was there. If I see him ever again, I'll apologize.

And what about Deputy Directors of Police Operations?
Formerly known as "Commander of Police Operations" when the building first opened:
Jerry Robinson (sworn)
Robert Cornfield (sworn)
then came the Civilian title (our Current title DDPD ):
Tom Folliard
Martin Anderson
(Acting) Marista Keating
Ronald Simmons
does anyone have Time in Title dates?
At 30 March, 2008 18:23 , Anonymous said...
Anderson was also "acting", and the scary thought is, I do believe that Keating was in that spot longest

Your information on the dates served by the ed's appears to be correct, however, there are two errors in your list of names.
Huberman's legal first name is Ron, not Ronald, and Ruiz's legal first name is Antonio, not Anthony.
Was Bishop's first name Greg, or Gregory?
