POPP

This post is dedicated for the lovely men and women in blue that we work with day in and day out. Chicago's Finest, just hear us out, we're not out to bash, but here are a few pet peeves we have 'bout some of you. Whether it is not waiting until we're ready to run that plate, talking on the radio without first listening to see if the air is clear to resetting that timer on your 30 minute lunch block. Ok commenters, lets be as nice and respectful as we can be in order to get your point across, remember no matter what we and they still have to work together.

some of the worst 911 calls are from off duty p.o.'s - do they loose brain cells when they are not working?
they don't give the needed info or just assume because they have identified themselves as off duty po think we should send the police immediately, no matter the circumstance. It is aggravating when you hear officers complaining about the lack of info given by call-taker, when many (or so it seems) do not give the info they would want if responding to the job

When they give you a name check all out of order. Like they give you the first name first, dob all in the wrong order..etc

When you have to call them 3-4 times....but if they call you and you don't answer in a half a second they call you again and sound all pissed off.

When the dispatcher doesn't speak English, and cannot be understood, or ignores the call because there are red jobs and yellow jobs that HAVE to be given out now. I can't answer your call. Or the dispatcher that sounds like the mike is up her nose. lol. Besides that I like my dispatchers....oh wait this one was supposed to be complaining about us. Well I can say I dislike the mope that has to go on paper every night out of roll call. Or the mope that sits on a disturbance and asks for a callback. I could go on for hours.
