Can I get a seat?

I know we've mentioned this topic before but it just seems that important to mention it again. We really appreciate a replacement tv, a nice shiny refrigerator (even though someone already broke it) and exercise tips on our breaks, but please, please can we get a decent chair in the place?

I don't think any chair on the planet is constructed well enough to withstand constant 24/7/365 use, especially considering the sizes of some of the rumps that plant themselves in said chairs. Talk about fighting an uphill battle.

Can't we all get our own private chair like CT on 2nd watch has? I would be willing to take mine home with me every day for safety & hygenic reasons!

I agree. I'm one of those rumps. So replace the chairs every 2 years. Keep purchasing improved product, with the new technology that comes out each year regarding back and spine support. We spend thousands on imported tulip bulbs for huge million dollar car crushing, paralyzing flower pots. What's $100 grand every 2 years for new chairs??

or what if instead they took the 100 grand and had a lapband/bypass fund so the rumps around here can all have surgery?

Here's what is really odd about the chairs causing back problems
the 2 people I do know seeking medical advice on their backs are well within normal healthy weight limits. Size 6 and 8.
