We have a Special Event Coordinator ,JH...given the title too late to organize our (OEMC) representation at either of the St Pat's parades...has now filled all the available spots for the Bud Biliken parade. Will this hold true for the next Polish Day parade coming up in May? And will we be offered to be represented at all the other ethnic groups,ie Italian, Greek, Hispanic, German, Norwegian ,etc .......special events or parardes ? Lets keep a watchful eye on this new baby born of our new administration......if any hint of racial favortism to be found! ! ! All of us non-African Americans are, collectively, the MINORITY in the OEMC....if you don't believe this..just make your own observation & you will see it as fact.

Please don't be like those callers who feel that everything is racially motivated - i.e., "if I were white the police would be here already." Be part of the SOLUTION. We are all in this together - if you want a Polish, Greek, German, Hispanic day, suggest and then help organize one!! The last thing we need is more animosity on the floor.

Anyone get a look at that "beast" in the parking lot the other day. I am refering of course to the OEMC mega ton pick up hauling the lighting trailer. You know, the one that is taking up almost 4 spots??? HEY B.O. (that's actually kinda funny) how about parking the Jurassic Park vehicle in the lot down the street? Or better yet, how about giving it YOUR spot on the other side of the building? With all the problems with parking at the OEMC, and this einstein is gonna let that thing park in the lot. Even better is the fact that while that beast sits there, he calls the police to ticket us. Way to go B.O., you da man!!!

your comment is filled with such nonesense, but say what you want about bo, you cannot deny that the lot is in much better shape. and did the jurassic vehicle impede you from parking in the lot? if it does not belong to operations, how do you know that he parked it there? and if it takes up 4 spots, how can it fit in one spot on the other side of the building? here's a suggestion, why don't they drive it up your big, fat ass? there's plenty of room there.

Why can't they park that OEMC jungle gym in the alternate lot
on the NWX of Ogden/Ashland?? There is a whole 8 spots there, ample room! I'm sure it would be safe there. I mean it's safe enough for us women to walk there at 2200, 0400 0600hrs right?

I can only help you a little....
let's see....2 spots opened up when RS became DD and he now has is own private slot on the Loomis side, and AL left (from tape review) to enter the academy (does anyone know for sure where he went?). Also , a few females are on their maternity leaves, so that helps for a couple months anyway!

The parking lot has sucked the past 2 days for 3rd watch. After driving around and around like my other co-workers, I lucked out with a spot when someone I had never seen before walked to his car and pulled out of a spot. Then I come walking into our building and the lobby is filled with about 10-12 men and women in business suits. Who the Hell were THOSE people?? Probably the same ones who just took up at least 10-12 spots in the lot!! They didnt work in our building, they were all signing in, and being escorted in by some girl with an oemc id. No idea who she was either.
