120 subpoenas, huh? I wonder who's gonna get fired over this? Wishful thinking, because we all know that as long as JA's in command, he's going to protect his people.

The person who did this is currently in training to go back to the floor on 16 April and no, she will NOT be punished. However, the choice for no punishment is not coming from JA but Ray Ray himself. Maybe a favor to her father or fiance?

We look like a bunch of goofs. this is embarrassing, I'm ashamed to work here.

The bad apples just need to get thrown out. This is not a bad place to work and everyone who works here are not idiots and most of us care about what happens here. No place will ever be perfect but I think there is definitely more good here than bad.

Sam and Art would have never let this happen.

If Ray-Ray thought he would take care of this matter on his own without guidance from the mayor's office, the corporation counsel's office and the states attorney's office, get ready for a new executive director!

    So who's the culprit?

So is this one of those crazy things that happen in the AM around here?

I am so ashamed to be associated with this rat hole I can't take it any more. Public safety? what a joke. I have to live with my self and look at myself in the mirror every day. I'm done. I am going to the Inspector General and spilling my guts. I recommend that any one here with any self respect to do the same.

11 April, 2009 10:42, good for you, and I mean that in a serious way. If more people would stand up, and talk to the IG, this place would be so much better.

LOL...is that the same Inspector General that has been trying to find that 2 million dollars that we gave Motorola in 2004? Tell him this then:" Hey MT, you have to go back to the floor", states EH. MT then calls Fran "I hate all city workers" Spielman and gives a b/s overblown, dramatic story because she doesn't want to go back to the floor. MT after much crying to the 4th floor, gets a reprieve at the 11th hour. "Whoops! Can't take my story that I gave to the crappy reporter back, but hey, still got to keep my detail! But now I've brought a glaring light to the place I work in, but who cares if everyone else suffers as long as I keep my fat ass in my detail!"

I feel sorry for MT. You really don't think she ratted herself out to the trib reporter do you? Are you kidding? There are people here who are talking. Her goofy "database" that she enters the subpoenas is a sham and the white shirts know it. There are others talking and MT will go down with the rest of them guaranteed. MT told me that she had to sit for a video deposition. Believe me, this place is under a microscope and when it comes down it will be very sweeping. A word to the wise - protect yourself and talk, if you don't you will be one of them!

If it is who they are saying, what fool would want to be engaged to this mean, bitter person?

Well, who is the culprit? MT, AM, JM, LW, EH or ?

Hey AM, green is not your color.

As a matter of fact, I know JA himself has 2 or 3 subpoenas in stuffed in his desk, if only Ray-Ray knew...

How much are the new consoles going To Blow? Let's hear about it haters!

OK, I'll bite. The console fiasco will be similar to the chair fiasco. Several weeks of rating chairs and finally picking one and OOPPPSSS. You can't have that chair, we'll give you this one instead.
From what I hear, one cpnsole is already busted, the consloe is the prefered console but has anyone attempted to put a 20 inch monitor on the console instead of the little 14 inch ones they have on there. By putting the lager monitors on the holders you will change the functionality by taking up space.
Speaking of SPACE, has anyone checked to see if the prefered console will fit the floor or will it reduce the number of consoles availabe after you figure in enough space to make is wheelchair accessible.
I really believe that the consoles have already been selected and are gathering dust somewhere in a warehouse. They will be outdated and nonfunctional. This selection process is just smoke and mirrors to make it look like the contract was bidded on and awarded all the while, the consoles have been bought and paid for and someone has made a couple large in kick backs by the supplying contractor.

You people, yes I said you people, are never satisfied, so why even try? No, the consoles have not already been bought, but they will be at a large cost to improve the floor but also to try to improve call-takers dispatchers ability to perform their jobs. Will it be perfect, no, but along with the chairs mgmt at leat tries, which is more than many of the floor personnel do. It's a stressful job, but it is safe, good pay, good benes. Get some exercise occasionally and you might reduce some stress, there is a free gym on the first floor. Everything expected, nothing appreciated.

22:48, people are never satisfied when crap like the chair fiasco happens. We are shown several chairs to choose from, and then the one that gets selected is not one of the original choice.

Both police and fire have given many inputs for making the CAD system better, and nothing was followed. They asked people what they thought of the system, good or bad, and filed those papers in the trash.

What does all this mean?? Management doesn't give a crap!! If you can't see it, I feel sorry for you. If management would get off their asses, and actually listen to us, guess what? We wouldn't bitch as much.

    Figure it out.

Why must we always be so negative?
It is such a drain to come to work and get beat-up on the zone every night and then have to hear all the bitching and moaning from coworkers. It appears that they are trying to do all they can to make things better. Can't we just stop complaining for a day and thank GOD we all have jobs in this economy? Whether you like your job or not, you still have a job and should be grateful for that! If you hate the OEMC, the pencil pushers on the 4th floor, and your job that much, leave and take your negativity with you....now that would make things better!
