Car 54, I know where you are
Well the news came to us in the form of a roll call. New "cool" technology coming our way. Or is it really all a dream? If all is true, we as employees will be much happier and less aggravated. But again, if it is true. Some have been heard saying that it won't happen any time soon, or at least in the time that we were given. Only time will tell.

If that is what you think then why didn't you speak up in roll call and voice your opinion publicly instead of whining and complaining here. Ever thought of seeking therapy for all your negative energy instead of becoming a cancer and trying to bring others down too? I would hate to live each day of my life in such a miserable state. Sometimes the glass is half full you know.

Next class scheduled for July.
Zone 6 has had the GPS for some time now, if you only work the slow zones, then of course you would never know!

zone 6 has gps, thats news to me and i work it as a regular everyday. none of us know about it if we do, unless this has happened during my last rdo's

zone 6 has the gps computers sitting there collecting dust. it is not functioning for the dispatchers at least. the monitors were there too but the took them away a while ago.

GPS is only available at the fusion center and other offices that we might not know of, and only certain units have them on the street. Zone 6 only had that computer there because they were testing the system. Due to the rediculous amount of jobs and radio traffic, they thought it would be the perfect environment but was never operational.
Zone6 Dispatcher.
