Just give me one more day please

Memo posted read in roll call. Basically if we can give you an extension, you will get it. If we can't give you an extension you will not get it. At this point what is guaranteed are you 2 weeks to the segment you chose back in November. Anything else is extra and appreciated. At least that is how blogmaster understood a memo read to us. Is that what others understood?

    I got the impression you might not get 5 days, but you will still get an extension. At least that's how I heard it at roll call.

    From management's prespective, everyone has to understand that everything depends on certain things. If the stats go down for the month, guess what? They're going to try to staff the floor as much as possible. It's all about the numbers people. Imagine yourselved in their situation. Wouldn't you worry about getting fired if you don't do your job the way you're supposed to? Well they do to. It's just a part of the job and everyone was made aware of that policy when they got hired. If you didn't, then don't blame the supervisors. Blame the training department for not letting you know that's just the way it is. Deal with it or get another job.

    Oh please! All this was not neccessary if the 1st w/m had not started this issue! NO OTHER WATCH HAS/WILL BE DENYING FURLO EXTENSIONS! It only happens on what ever watch she goes too. It's her idea of keeping the budget low. Nobody else cares about the budget! The other w/m's realize that we work hard and deserve any and all time coming to us! When will someone in upper management realize that the 1st w/m is steadily sinking morale to an incredibly new low!?

    JA and MD talked to her last week and told her she was going to have to stop her behavior and she twisted everything around and said she did not say what she said to any of us in roll call and then she tried to sell JA out to all of us saying we are not allowed to email/message him any longer for any reason. I personally asked him about all this and he said anyone one of us are welcome to email/message him anytime for any reason. It is all HER trying to make herself look better. She knows we ALL hate her and she is constantly trying to put blame for everything she does on someone else or deny she said/did anything period! Would love to know when her suspension/firing is coming because it is not soon enough!

    she is walking on a world made of egg shells since her guardian RS was shown the door. there is no one else in the whole organiization willing to cover her ass. she is in a sinking boat and she keeps drilling holes in the hull trying to let the water out. a wonderful example of stupid being in a place it shouldn't be.

    I bet the people complaining must be 1st watch people who bitch the most anyway about getting time off, and who bitch about everything else for that matter. Quit being a bunch of babies and bid for the 3rd watch one year so that you'll know the meaning of "getting denied" all the damn time. They're going to bitch about everyone who wears that white shirt. No matter who it is. They'll stop bitching once someone comes along who they can bully into doing everything they ask of him/her (a bitch). I'm sorry, but I don't want a bitch for a supervisor. We have enough of those on the floor already. Props to her for standing up to these spoiled ass brats who are used to getting their way all the damn time.

    Hey 00:41. Are you saying that the third watch denies time off more than the 1st watch? Sorry friend but it is not self explainatory or i would not be asking. If you make a statement that is not clear to someone then have the guts to go into a little more detail if you feel you know what you are talking about.

    How about a new post-something along the lines like-The city has extra money to hire more Traffic Control Aides but not enough money to hire Call Takers or Police Officers to respond to emergency calls for service?-Maybe we should just dispatch tca's to shots fired calls or burgip calls. At least the calls would be dispatched in a timely manner and the back log problem could eliminated.
