Talking to a couple of them.....they aren't promoted yet. As a matter of fact personnel told them don't quit their current job. They are in the next process, now they are to be background checked and it goes to personnel and budget for final approval. Congrats to those who have made it this far!!!

Maybe whoever is interested in Kathy wife of Sgt Baby Huey Kirsch,umm still has to an employee of OEMC. I think whoever brought this up needs a little more uum stuff in their life. I would like to thank whoever that corrected to a K and C. Plus ,I am not suprised "you"didn't bring up that Baby Huey is Lovie Smith's bodyguard and oh darn that means she gets to watch games in the "Smith" family suite. Please live your own lives don't go into others who for Sgt. Kirsch had a major seizure and near fatal heart attack in january and then lose his brother a week later at 42 yrs old. Walk in their shoes for a while since you feel like bringing some dispatcher up from 5 years ago and her husband. you must have some major mental issues. Believe it or not a friend of kathy wife of sgt. baby huey kirsch.

Maybe we didn't bring up any of that stuff about the Kirsch's, because we dont care. Or maybe it's because we dont want to broadcast their personal business to everyone. So thanks for taking care of that "friend of kathy's". I'm sure she'd be proud you're talking about her and her family's business!!!
The only thing that was mentioned by us, was did she make supervisor, and umm, no she did not.

I must say that all the negativity is sad...sad...sad. Only shows what poor opinions you have of yourselves. Let them do the job first before you start bashing them. But then again it wouldn't be hard to guess that those who are saying negative stuff either didn't apply for the job or didn't pass the test, because of course it was an unfair test in your opinion. But I'm pretty sure you had materials to study from. And to be honest I wouldn't have given study materials because you should already know the information, if you are supervisory material. If all the bashers are so unhappy they should find other jobs.

Hmmm or maybe even the rank of sgt still? People need to realize sometimes things actually happen based on experience and actually deserve that position. Right now he wouldn't touch that mayor of that suburb who the feds love to watch..but the Kirsch's were brought up by someone and someone feels it necessary to air out "their" business. I guess both of them must be pretty important for someone to slander or think about. Especially Kathy who's been gone for at least 3 years. People have enough problems in this world walk in someone else's shoes or maybe stay in your own and deal with your own problems . It's obvious you have them.

BREAKING NEWS:
Residents in the area of 1313 S. Kolin allege they called 911 twice last Saturday morning and reported the location of the vehicle described in the amber alert and containing the body of Jennifer Hudson's nephew.
Hopefully, the call was taken, sent for dispatch and assigned to a CPD unit. If so, OEMC is not culpable, but if the calls were blown off on our end, Orozco will learn first-hand how a call taker or a dispatcher can stick it right squarely in his arrogant bootie.
Hopefully, if the citizens are speaking the truth, we did everything right, and the problem belongs to CPD, but if we blew it, hold on to your wigs because a big wind is about to, once again, blow through the ops floor.
Regardless, my condolences to the Hudson family and may God help them through this tragedy.

whoever keeps defending kathy...shut the f up...people are still talking about her because she's still on our employee list with a seniority number...but when she was there she was the biggest gossip out there..always in other peoples business and to no one's liking putting her own business out there..she would lie to people about having cancer and has been doing it for years...furthermore..just because someone didn't take the test or didnt get hired doesn't mean they can't have an opinion, these are our supervisors that we have to work with on a daily basis. So you're trying to say that a call taker, who CANT apply for the job shouldn't have an opinion on those they hire?

This blog is ridiculous. If the greatest dispatcher in the world had made supervisor, you'd still find something wrong with them. This is truly sad. These people passed the test and spoke well in their interview. Why does everything have to be about clout? Most of the people up there are related to cops in some way or other. Someone should've bitched last time when a mysterious extended list came up at the last minute and people were hired off of that one.

There are people still working overtime at enormous rates even though it is getting cold. But no one even mentions the fact that included in overtime is the cancellation of lunches and/or breaks, mandating or the cancellation of RDO'S in anticipation of higher than usual call volumes.
When is somebody gonna actually look and see the truth?

You speak of leaving early, it's done everywhere, even the desk people at the districts take turns cutting out early. In 025 Corrie always goes home first. On Sunday she has to get home to watch "Desperate Housewives". Works about 3 hrs. a shift.

Kathy was not a gossip.She was never outside smoking and yapping or going to lunch with the gossipers'.Sorry to say that Kathy's partner Michelle "if it gets me ahead" Driver was one of t the biggest gossip.If Kathy thought you were a friend ,and asked what was wrong with her while she was gone so long she would tell this "friend". Believe it or not she did have Breast Cancer which again is nobody's business but that place down there only runs on rumours and these put downs. Make the gossips and their sorry crappy lives look or make them feel better. I'm trying really hard to figure out why the personal lives of Kathy and her husband are of such great concern for some people. Sounds to me like they had a lot of bad shit happen to them, so enough is enough. She was a gossiper, but she was also a nice person to work with. Move on to something else.
